Audio Mixer Features

CHANNEL CONTROLS

The sound mixing board combines many sound sources into one MAIN OUTPUT. There are 12 channels. Five are shown here>>

SOUND SOURCES -- Each channel has an indicator showing the sound source the channel is currently controlling. This image (at right) shows Mic 1, 2, 3, and 4. Mic5, is the Presenter mic (Pres) which is at the mixer. The presenter Mic is also on channel 9/input2

INPUT BUTTONS - Microphones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, are on INPUT 2. To use the mics, be sure the INPUT 2 buttons are selected.

CUE - CUE is usally not selected.

FADERS - The level control (volume) for each channel is adjusted by sliding the Adjust Faders up and down.

ON/OFF - These buttons select the channel for use.

OUTPUT CONTROL AREA

EQ - allows adjustments to TONE (Bass, Midrange frequencies, High frequencies)

EQ IN and PROG should be selected for each channel to allow use of those options

TRIM - allows additional level control on channels

BAL - Stereo L/R should be at zero (middle)

MAIN OUTPUTS -- Both UP all the time

MONITOR ADJUST -- When mics are in use, the MUTE must be ON to avoide feedback.

HEADSET ADJUST KNOB - adjusts the headset only, and not the actual channel levels.
